At Lamar AEP, we provide a safe and structured learning environment that encourages academic success, appropriate behavior and responsibility. Our program is aligned with the objectives of the District Character Counts! program. We challenge each student to overcome the challenges they face on their home campus. We strongly believe that each student is capable of making wise choices, and we make it our daily goal to provide students with opportunities to learn to make better and wiser choices.

Our academic program is aligned with District curriculum, providing core subject areas and computer elective instruction. We also provide high school students an opportunity to excel by taking distance learning courses through Plato. We are committed to providing all necessary courses so that students remain successful when they return to their home campus.
